In early childhood education, Harvest Partners acquired a majority stake in The Learning Experience (TLE) from Golden Gate Capital, a network of over 430 centers with proprietary curriculum and digital content. Golden Gate retains a minority stake, and TLE’s founder continues to run operations, signalling a strong alignment between financial and strategic objectives. Across the pond, Box Hill School in Surrey has joined the Reigate Grammar School Group, relaunching as RGS Surrey Hills. The deal preserves the school’s identity and leadership while unlocking deeper resources, expanding academic pathways (including A-Levels and IB), and enhancing operational resilience.

Other notable transactions include the $47.5 million sale of Sprott Shaw College in British Columbia and an $85 million earnings boost at The Institute of Education following its acquisition by Dukes Education. These deals highlight a broader trend toward consolidation, brand elevation, and the adoption of scalable education models. Buyers and investors are increasingly targeting institutions with strong market positioning, resilient academic offerings, and clear opportunities for growth through digital innovation or international expansion.
